Magnetic Stripe Encoder/Verifier
Our Magnetic Stripe Encoder is a versatile drop-in replacement for OEM installations that will benefit from
increased performance and expanded capabilities. The high speed encode verify module will breathe new life
into your existing infrastructure and provide a solid return on investment. Our encoder is capable of forward
and reverse encoding, standard or condensed bit density, single or multiple magnetic stripes, and single or
multiple messages per track. Selectable character sets allow any format or language encoding. The location
of lead zeros, the location of start sentinel and the number of trail zeros can be user defined to allow for
card carriers and virtually any size media.
Magnetic Stripe Encoder Highlights Include:
- Fastest Encode Speeds in the Industry (up to 75,000 cards an hour)
- High speed, reliable encoding and verification provides the ability to output jobs
faster and to lower production costs.
- Our patented Bidirectional StepConversion Technology ensures you will see highly
stable amplitude, minimal jitter and quality encoding from the slowest to fastest speeds.
- Designed to be flexible, the encoder can be configured to encode on an incredibly
wide variety of products from web media, multicard packs, packing materials, and much more.
Standard Features:
- Highly customizable three track encode and verify capability that is compliant with
ISO and AAMVA encoding standards, or any other encoding format.
- Conveniently sized footprint to integrate easily into existing card system or web press.
- Reliable solid state design with on-board processor and memory provides faster encode and verify
which allow transport speeds in excess of 700 feet per minute.
- All parameters can be controlled via software interface using a single fast RS485 communication
port.
- Technical support, documentation, sample source code and programming interface provided with
each unit.
- No photo eye required at magnetic head location, product detect location is flexible and can be
conveniently located.
- Only a single standard shaft encoder is required for all roller diameters and bit densities.
